Updating the App
You should always ensure you have the latest version of the Core app. If you’re experiencing any issues with Core, it’s a good idea to make sure your app is up-to-date.
The easiest way to make sure you always have the latest version is to enable auto-updates via your phone’s Settings. If you don’t want to enable auto-updates, you can always check to see if there’s a new version available by opening the App Store app (for iPhone users) or the Play Store app (for Android users) and searching for “Core Meditation.”

Updating Core’s Firmware
The firmware is the internal software on your Core device. If an update to this firmware is released, the app will automatically inform you when it connects to your Core.
You should allow it to proceed with any firmware updates immediately — these updates are very important, as they often impact the critical functions of your Core.
In some cases, the battery in your Core might be too low to begin the update. The app will tell you if this is the case; just place your Core in its charging base for a few minutes, then try again.
Whenever you’re updating the firmware on your Core, it’s important to make sure that you allow the process to complete without interruption. Interrupting the firmware update can damage your Core. Make sure that your phone and your Core remain in close proximity during the update, and don’t quit out of the app or disable Bluetooth.
