When you purchase a new Core, it comes with a 1-year subscription that unlocks access to our entire library of meditation content.
This subscription will be automatically be redeemed when you pair to your new Core for the first time. You'll see a message come up that will inform you your subscription was activated. Remember that you can always check your current subscription status by navigating to the Profile tab of the Core app.
If your pair to your new Core and the subscription is not automatically activated, there are a couple reasons why this might happen.
1. This Core has already been paired to another account. Each Core comes with a single annual subscription, which will be activated the first time it's connected to your phone. If someone has already connected to this Core (or, if you've connected it to a different user account), the subscription will already have been associated with that first account.
If you believe that this Core has never been paired to another user account, and it's still not activating your subscription, feel free to contact our customer support directly, and we'll help you figure out what's going on.
2. You already have an active App Store or Play Store subscription. If you're already subscribed through the app store, your subscription is being managed by that third-party service, and we can't modify it. Don't worry, though -- the subscription that came with your new Core is still valid, you just won't be able to redeem it as long as you have a competing, active app store subscription. If you cancel your app store subscription or wait until it expires, then re-pair to your Core device, the subscription will be activated at that point.
