Overview
All Hypervolts have the same charging indications. The Hypervolt should only be charged when the battery is already powered off. Hypervolts can not be used while they are actively charging.
If you are using the correct charger, the ring light will slowly pulse on and off while charging. Depending on the charge level before plugging it in, the ring light will eventually change color from pulsing red -> pulsing orange -> pulsing yellow -> pulsing green -> solid green.
When the ring light is no longer pulsing the product is completely charged and can be operated in accordance with the manual.
Hypervolt/Hypervolt Plus
Please make sure you are using the appropriate 24V charger to power your Hypervolt/Hypervolt Plus. You can make sure you're using the right charger by using the link below,
Which Charger should I be using?
Troubleshooting Steps:
- With the Hypervolt in the OFF position, plug the charger into the device, does the ring light on the Hypervolt handle come on? (Yes or No)
- If the ring light DID come on, does the light slowly pulse on and off? Or does it quickly turn from red to solid green? (Pulsing or Quick change)
- If the battery appears to be charging normally, (slowly pulsing, color not important) UNPLUG the Hypervolt from the charger and switch it to the ON position. Do any lights on the back of the motor head come on? (Yes or No)
- If the lights DID come on, will pressing the activation button on the back of the motor head engage the motor? (Yes or No)

Hypervolt 2/Hypervolt Go 2/Hypervolt Go
Please make sure you are using the appropriate 18V charger to power your Hypervolt 2, Hypervolt Go 2, or Hypervolt Go. You can make sure you're using the right charger by using the link below,

Troubleshooting Steps:
- With the Hypervolt powered off, plug the charger into the device, does the ring light on the Hypervolt handle come on? (Yes or No)
- If the ring light DID come on, does the light slowly pulse on and off? Or does it quickly turn from red to solid green? (Pulsing or Quick change)
- If the battery appears to be charging normally, (slowly pulsing, color not important) press down on the power/speed button in the device for 3-5 seconds or until the ring light on the Hypervolt handle comes on. Did the ring light come on? (Yes or No)
- If the ring light did come on, activate the motor and change speed settings (1-3) by pressing the power/speed button once per speed. Do not hold the button as you did to power on the battery. Does the motor active when pressing the power/speed button? (Yes or No)

- If the lights DID come on, will turning the speed activation ring on the back of the motor head engage the motor? (Yes or No)
