Core requires an active internet connection, either via WiFi or a cellular signal, to download and play the meditations in our library. This is mostly because we try to avoid using too much space on your phone by storing them locally.
Core also needs an active connection to be able to properly analyze and save your biometric data after you meditate.
If you aren’t currently connected to the internet , you’ll see a small error message appear while using the app.
The exception to this requirement is Shared Use Mode. When you first switch into this mode, the app will download a small set of demo meditations to your phone, which can then be played while offline.
